First burrito post!

So I went with the usual Friday night Chipotle run, even though the last day of the workweek was Thursday. Last night’s visit was largely uneventful. I ordered a steak burrito with extra rice, black beans, medium salsa, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce. And side of guac. Josh got a barbacoa fajita burrito with extra rice, medium salsa, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce. And a side of chips and medium salsa.

Those burrito contents are our usual, and Josh usually gets chips + salsa. I usually skip the sides but sometimes I’ll get a guac.

Tonight we got charged for each burrito, and a chips + guac. Frequently we get “mischarged”, either on purpose or by accident. Frequently we also get comped on part or all of our order. Tonight we saved about $1.50 for the incorrect charging of the sides.

Here’s my setup before eating.

Tonight’s burrito was quite nice. Only 1 chunk of inedible steak. Towards the end it got quite salty, but it was really only the last 4 bites or so. Overall I would give this an A.

It's coming

Burrito time. Tomorrow. Maybe. Or maybe Friday like usual.

Welcome to Wrapped in Foil, a blog dedicated solely to Chipotle burritos. And sometimes their chips and salsa or guac. I go there every Friday usually, and sometimes Thursday and/or Saturday. Here you will find stories of my Chipotle experience at the store, my expectations of my burrito, actual results of the burrito, all complete with pictures. I hope it will be as interesting to you as it is to me! No, really. Who doesn't love Chipotle?
